Common questions

Before you get started

Do farmers need a smartphone to benefit?
No. The SMS Platform reaches any mobile phone, including basic feature phones. The Android apps add richer features for those who do have smartphones, but they are an addition rather than a requirement.
Can our organisation send under its own name?
Yes. The platform supports multiple organisations, each with its own contacts, sender identity and message history, managed side by side.
How is SMS credit handled?
Credit is prepaid. Organisations request a top-up through the portal, and balances plus reconciliation records are visible at any time.
Can we import an existing contact list?
Yes. Contacts can be imported in bulk from a spreadsheet and then organised into groups for targeted sending.
